We love anime and manga because it is a form of storytelling that has the power to transport us to new worlds and make us feel things we never thought we could.

Anime is a Japanese style of animation that can be traced back to the early 1900s. It was originally called "animation" because it was created by drawing individual images, or frames, on paper and then showing them in rapid succession to create the illusion of movement when projected onto a screen.

It has grown into a multi-billion dollar industry with many different genres, including mecha (robots), shōnen (boy's adventure) and shōjo (girl's adventure).

Maison Collawn, the host and founder of MC Anime Podcast grew up as being a kid known to glued to the television. Even as an adult he finds binges movies and shows on different streaming platforms. Maison joins us on the Transform U! Live Show to enlighten us on the journey to share his passion to others.
