The understanding that we all as men have a background story and must experience the fullness of this reality leads me to open with this intro from my most recent guest's new audiobook.

“A man of action sees a beautiful woman and knows that he can have her, while a rebel knows that he can take her.”

This is one of many striking proverbs that enabled me to drive home the “edge” that the “bad boy” has. The bad boy in all essence is what most people call “alpha-male” today. He gets “the girl”, he has “the look”, and he does what he wants, needless to say; this guy is a winner. The Bad Boy is a series that is all about what type of man this is, and is designed for the man to question if this is the path that he should take, and for the woman to question if this is the guy that she could see herself with. In The Bad Boy, I will lead you through a series of seven different assertions.

Who the bad boy really is
What is takes to be a bad boy
The costs
The benefits
Why the bad boy gets so much respect
Why women can’t resist him
Why women don’t resist him
So prepare yourself to take a ride with...the bad boy.

The importance of the most successful and deep thinking men comes from the input advice of other wise men that offers guidance to fill yourself up with wisdom. Many people don't know where to seek wisdom. But a good place to start will be in the book of Proverbs. For Augustus V as a young, man, he was instructed to read a chapter a month to build up his own mental jar of wisdom. As he unfolded the revelations of what he was learning he sent a prayer to God to send him a wife. He missed the opportunity and that became a regret to remind him not to make the same mistake. Now he is on a mission to bring like-minded men together to trade and battle in wisdom and embrace manhood.

Augustus V stated that wisdom comes with manhood. Many men have chosen the route of being overly emotional and this is a feminine trait that goes against their true natural core. Manhood isn't intact as it was during the time of Spartans with 300 men fighting against 300 million Persian slaves. The modern world has shifted how masculinity looks and how you project it. "Toxic masculinity" is the most coined phrase. Many men who want to continue the traditional way of manhood have felt more and more pushed out of the way or chastised for being who they truly are. The question is do men who want to continue in the path of being thinking men and applying true wisdom create another society or class outside of the community and keep the women and others who don't think in this way out? Augustus V says we could follow after the Greeks. What the Greeks did around 400 B.C. was with a man by the name of Socrates. What he did was he came up with a form of philosophy. It was called the Socratics. It was literally the art of questioning and what men did,  it was left for the men. The women were left out because they were believed that women were too emotional.

Likewise, the questioning strategy is still very evident in modern culture in most spaces such as with psychologists. The issue with this is that many of these spaces don't provide a safe space or the individuals who have gone through proper testing and sometimes rights of passage. This same testing and rights of passage are necessary for all men to cultivate their manhood, but however, it is becoming lost and instead, most men in the community are roaming free under no rules and lack of self-discipline. Eventually, they find themselves in the prison where they go into solitude and are tested and put through a forced right of passage amongst peers who haven't been properly tested themselves outside of the prison walls.

Men have lost their way when it comes to being vigilant and it is the call of nature to respond to your fight or flight trigger. Electronics like the mobile phone becomes a distraction which leads many individuals to ignore their spiritual parts of themselves. Modern society gives us this false reality that we are in a video game and not that we are spirits that must exit the earth and that there are no retries. Our instruction manual is God and we should follow it, says Augustus V.

God because your ultimate go-to when you are sent to prison. This is because when in solitude you are able to connect to your higher self and God without distraction. Augustus V noted the importance of solitude. It is needed especially for men to recharge and take a deeper insight into themselves.

Looking at the state of men and women relations after the #MeToo movement, feminism, government assistance programs, and skyrocketing divorce rates Augustus V suggested "the best remedy is learning your role because if we think about it, a lot of our males have to grow into being men. Women girls have to grow into being women. You know this is different. One is gender. One is a position where, you know, support is.

August V goes on further and emphasized this point:

"A lot of males don't. They grow up. Without having enough time to learn who they are, who the heck they are. They're born and peoples around them, they crowded around. They go to school. People crowded around them. They come home. People's crowded around them. Usually today when someone comes home and no one's crowded around, they say, oh, I'm alone, I'm lonely. They get on social media. They say, let me find some friends on social media and they try to find them. So they try to find them. You don't learn yourself that way. People don't even know what they don't like anymore. If you go outside, you could literally walk to someone and sell them anything today...

...The men are the head and God made it that way for a reason. women prefer to be the slave of a king than to be the queen of a peasant. But at the end of the day, a woman would go through more unnecessary stuff just to go through more to be with a dude that knows what he's doing. Then to go through nothing, with the guy who has no idea what he's doing. See I'll leave it at that."
